About Company
The factory has been serving Turkish Defense Sektor since 1989 and manufactured thousands of powerpack of Allison X200-4(B) automatic transmissions and Detroit Diesel 6V53T heavy duty engines for Armoured Combat Vehicles and M113 family of vehicles upgrade and modernization programs the products are used by primarily Turkish, Malaysian and Saudi Arabian Armies with succes.
The factory has necessary logistics repair and maintenance capability and modern test systems for aftersale operations of automatic transmissions produced.
HST has production licenses from Allison Transmission Inc. for X200, X300 and X1100 family of cross-drive transmissions for Advanced Armoured Combat Vehicles and modern Tanks, Howitzers and Tank Modernization Programs including M60 tanks.
The factory has completed both selection and application of transmission and design and production of final drives for BTR60 Armoured Personnel Carriers Modernization Program in Turkey.
The factory has also accomplished the production of transfer boxes and their special test for TACOM military tactical wheeled vehicles project.
The factory has necessary infrastructure for manufacturing transmissions and their components for air platforms.

Allison Automatic Transmission X200-4C: Modern armored vehicles must be survivable , lethal and highly mobile. These requirements are at odds with one another. While superior mobilitly requires powerfull and complex engine/drive systems there must be adequate interior hull space for ammunition, fuel, cooling system and other necessary equipment. The answer is a compact, lightweight, highly durable, easily operated Allison Military Series powertrain.

Allison 3040 MX cross drive automatic transmission. 4 forward 2 reverse speeds, hydraulic power type braking, hydrostatically controlled-infinitely variable type steering. Up to 500-800 GHP (373-597 kW) input power, 3.000 rpm max. input speed and 35+ tons vehicle weight. It is for modern air defence, amphibious assault vehicles and NGLAVS.
